The remote works, it dims and brightens, it's plenty bright enough to see the colours even with the lights on and not so bright in the dark that it blinds you. Remote works great. It came with a charger USB cable not not the wall adapter. The stand it comes with is 3 pieces with peg inserts to connect, it's not a snug fit so if you mess with it or pick it up it falls back into 3 pieces.

    Love this lamp right out of the box. I am giving to my 4 year old for Christmas so we haven't yet used this lamp full time. But I will update review if there are any issues. I did pull it out of the box and set it up to make sure it works. So far so good!! It was nice because it came charged so I was able to test it out right out of the box. Remote also came with batteries and it worked as well. We got the galaxy lamp and the colors and design are just amazing. They are bright enough and have amazing clarity. He is going to love sleeping with this thing at night! If it is of good quality in a couple of months or so, I may order another for my room!!
