I moved from a 4 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom apartment and was struggling with kitchen space. My old drawers were much wider, so I was at a loss until I found this little gem! I bought it “like new” since there were no new ones available, and mistakenly bought the Large instead of the Small but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! My drawer is actually functional again, plus the grey plastic looks much nicer than my previous white plastic. I ignored the silverware icons because I think they are in silly places, but that’s easy to overlook. The back storage section isn’t really useful for full-sized silverware, but it worked great for my espresso spoons and little knives. Overall, I’m so glad I bought this and would highly recommend it to anyone.

For the longest time I wanted to buy these so bad, but I measured my drawer boxes and they were under the minimum 3.25” height. So sad, right? Wrong! It took me a while, but I finally realized I shouldn’t be measuring the height of the actual drawer, but the height of the OPENING that the drawer slides into. To my delight, the opening (shown in pic) was 3.5” tall! I am now the proud owner of 3 of these and am so happy to have a nicely organized drawer!! My only gripe is that I wish the bottom of these organizers popped off easily for cleaning. The bottom DOES come off, BUT it requires undoing lots of teeny tiny screws. Not fun, but then again I only plan to clean it once a year or so.

Unfortunately we have a small shallow & narrow drawer as the best solution in our house but it was always puking full LOL! The only reason I would hesitate would be if your drawer is not adequately deep but from reading reviews people said if they had 3 1/2 inches of depth it would be just fine which is exactly what I have and there’s adequate drawer depth for me. I measured my skinny drawer and realized I still had space for two units and took the plunge & am so glad I did! Silverware goes quickly from the dishwasher straight into the drawer (The sections are labeled by an embossed picture which make it easy) and you don’t have to stack perfectly to put a lot in!!! It's literally half the size in width of those utensil organizers you're most familiar with. I have so much drawer space now I almost don't know what to do with it lol (don't worry, it won't become a junk drawer). If you want to organize your silverware drawer, get you this and the knife organizer block they sell. The knife block is next on my buy list because I don't like a bunch of stuff on my counters either. Only thing to point out before you buy is please please please measure your drawers and check the measurements. My drawer is just the right height, length, and depth. You can also use these outside the drawer if that's what you're about. And these don't have to be just for silverware! Artists? Parents with budding artists?? Use this for your art supplies like paint brushes or colored pencils. So many uses!

Yes, this little utensil try is really that good! I went from using 12 inches of horizontal space in a lovely but huge wooden utensil tray to about using about four inches (whatever the width of this godsend is). It stores my butter knives, steak knives, spoons, forks, and a slew of little teaspoons. I'd guess that the max capacity for each slot is about 10 pieces. For example, I fit four butter knives and four steak knives into the first/knife slot easily, with good wiggle room. This is such a great design. Using this tray opened up about half of my 18-inch wide drawer, which allowed me to decompress the other drawers in my kitchen a bit. I highly recommend this item. It's worth every penny.

This is one of those immediate reviews because I'm so pleased ... received this yesterday, checked to make sure I measured correctly, washed and put them to use ASAP. I had a very traditional holder and ended up with things spilling over and not fitting. These definitely hold a lot by creating a different space. There are little indicators on the top to show spoons, forks, etc - your choice to go with that or not. Because you can't necessarily see the utensil part if you load them that direction these are helpful. I have a full set of silver and then a pile of generic spoons and forks from a restaurant supply. I did go with 2 in order to have a place for as much as possible. Now I have room to put all my reusable straws in the drawer to the side. This was for sure a thing that started to bother me being at home a lot more, so I am super happy with these as a solution. Opening the drawer doesn't make me cringe anymore.

Happy I ordered two (and that they fit) but I think that one would not hold the complete service for 8. I've been looking for something like this for years. I gave this 5 stars because it is exactly the best solution for our drawers and this is the only good solution that I have found after many years of searching. However, it would be helpful if the small icon on the slots was a bit more pronounced (bigger, contrasting color, something) as it's hard to see what each slot holds, so I (and others) usually pull out a number of pieces to find what I'm looking for (can't always remember which slot was for what).
