Corrective Color Blindness Glasses

We apologize for the no shirt but I wasn't even going to record this and certainly did not think that the glasses would work so well! You can see for yourself. :-) They are a little lightweight but come in a very nice case.

I ordered these for my husband for his birthday. I admit I was very skeptical and hoped he wouldn't be disappointed. I played it off like they were my sun glasses and there was something on the lens I couldn't get off. He ended up putting them on to see what I was talking about and all of a sudden got very emotional! My house is surrounded by trees full of green leaves! On our way to lunch he was pointing out signs, buildings etc that had green or red on them. Extremely pleased with the product! My husband's response was priceless! Ordering a pair for my daughters boyfriend. He has problems with red/green. Thank you!

I bought these for my red/green, moderately colorblind son. He is 11 and and had very high hopes so I really didn't want him to be disappointed! His reaction was incredibly genuine and emotional...we were all moved. He has had them for 4 days and wears them all day in school as well as outside! He first got them outside and was immediately gushing over the greens saying how beautiful our world is and how he has missed out. Then as we drove to dinner, he pointed out all the red signs everywhere he always thought were brown! Then at the restaurant, a man at a table across from us said "I have those glasses!" He was probably in his 50's and he and my son continued to talk about all the new colors they saw. He said he was probably going to buy more to have one at work as well. It was a huge coincidence to be sitting next to him and that he recognized them (but of course, my son couldn't talk about everything he was seeing!!). The next evening we had a thunderstorm so I took Matthew outside in hopes of seeing a rainbow. He always thought rainbows were just shades of blue. I have included a photo of him looking at the rainbow. I understand from reviews that these aren't equally effective for everyone, but at this price, one would be wrong not to try them. Some colors Matthew was not spot on with, but when he would ask me what color is this? I would say, I'm not telling you, you tell me. Then he would say brown, or dark green without the glasses, and red with them. We did not feed him the answers so I know these do help and work with much color detection.

My son loved these. He is 18, and is red/green colorblind. He had never known what bright blue, bright green, gold, or dark red looked like. He kept lowering them to look at things he was familiar with, then putting them back on to look again. He just wandered around in amazement. He said the dog even looked different. Lol

I don't write reviews very often, but I just had to write one for these glasses. I bought these for my 31 year old son, who is color blind to red and green. All I can say to Pilestone is THANK YOU!! I wish I had videotaped my son putting them on for the first time; it brought me to tears to see the expression on his face and to watch him walk (almost running) around in astonishment at the vibrance and colors he was seeing. It was as if he was seeing the home he grew up in for the very first time, and couldn't get to everything fast enough to see it in color. Like a blind man that had been healed.

I had always been curious about these types of glasses I had seen videos of online, but also a bit skeptical. Pilestone's offering at a price that didn't break the bank convinced me to at least see if they could help. In the end, we are certainly glad we made the investment. There are many types of colorblindness, and these may not help everyone, but for our son, these are definitely winners!

It worked. My 14 year old son is red green colorblind and we got these because enchroma is way too much. I figured if they dont work, I can return them. But they did. Mainly red! He saw red for the 1st time in his life. See video. Emotional and amazing when he sees his red shoes. I would recommend these glasses. You can't put a price on the reaction of someone who has never seen a color. Now I must say my dad is red green blue colorblind and they didn't work on him. It just made the greens brighter. These glasses are meant for red green not other colors. They glasses are like sunglasses and look good. They fit good on my son and my father. Please try them if you know a red green colorblind person. It's amazing!

We ordered glasses for our colorblind son. We had no idea what to expect. His immediate reaction when putting them on was "everything is red", and we thought that we did not get lucky in finding something that worked for him. But after just a couple minutes adjusting to them, he refused to take them off.
