Yes, I had blisters on my fingers but it didn't take as long nor was it as messy as rolling them by hand. Plus they all cooked uniformly. Great item and not found anywhere, and I looked, except Katy. All I had to do was place more than enough batter in the tongs, squeeze and remove the excess from the sides and holes, then reposition the ball and squeeze again.
