So far has worked well for us. Though it would be nice if the the buttons were reversed with the beep button at the top and the shock button at the bottom. It is too easy to hit the shock button when not wanted. I usually hold the handheld part upside down to keep from hitting the shock button. Also, the dial for the level of intensity is too loose and turns easily without meaning to while holding in your hand or in pocket. Otherwise, it works great with the dog and she is much better at listening to what I have to say. Works at the distance it says it will. She will back off from whatever she happens to be chasing that should not be chased.

Her energy levels are off the charts with every negative characteristic you could think of. This collar turned her around in 48 hours without once having to use the shock function. The remote is easy enough for my 11 and 13 year old to participate in training and teaching Rose to obey their commands as well as the adults. We went from having a dog that we could not control to a dog that can walk off leash and run free in our unfenced front yard without any issues at all. He is over 50 pounds and was a menace from jumping and knocking people over. He still gets excited to see people but will sit and wait for attention now. Just be careful as the buttons are very easy to push accidentally. Our wookie sat on it and beeped himself. He had no clue what he did wrong, poor thing.

He had never experienced puppy development stages and was very leash aggressive. We love love love this product and our dog has become much more tolerant of other dogs and HAPPY. We NEVER use the shock. We barely use the beep. The vibrate has stopped his howling (from seperation anxiety), his pulling, his aggressiveness towards dogs and people can pet him now, as long as they hide their hands and let him smell them first). If he runs too far off leash I use the vibrate and he comes back. Buy this. You won't regret it!

I did have an issue with one of the prongs coming off and lost it outside ( I didnt realize was possible for them to come off but they just unscrew, since I know now I just check them every so often to make sure they aren't loose) I called customer service when I realized it was missing and they sent me a new prong replacement quickly with no hassle so my collar works perfectly again. Battery life is great, I've had it for a few months now and haven't found the need to charge it although I do not use this daily. I like the adjustable settings. Do note 100 is a really strong shock. I have yet to use it. We tried it out on ourselves first and it stings! But I usually can get the job done with the beep and the buzz. I rarely have to use the shock setting and if I do is on 50 or lower. But use caution if you do, you don't want to traumatize your fur baby.
