My son lightly steps on it to get into his car seat. It is not scratching up our leather seats. Most importantly, my son no longer complains about leg discomfort on longer drives. We have the odyssey with the sliding second row. I have it just snug enough where I can still slide this seat with the footrest. I plan on getting another one for my younger child.

He's no longer pull his legs up, and he's now happily place them on kneeguard. He love it so much, that we end up buying another one for our second car. Definitely a must buy and very easy to install.I only wish that I've bought this when I bought the car seat so that I don't have setup the seats twice - as it does need to go under the car seat; however, it's a tiny price compared to the benefits that kneeguard offers.

    I found this incredibly easy to put together, easy to install, & easy to adjust. There's actually a point near the top of the stand that you either install above or below, based on child's height. When I installed in the car, I had it above the point when I should've had it below. It was so easy to take apart & fix I didn't even have to fully uninstall it to do.I find the quality to be just fine. Plastic, but thick & sturdy. The instructions do say not to use it as a footstool, but my 4yo still insists on using it to get in & out of her seat. No issues.

We went on a long trip aceros a couple of states and he didn't complain he was actually saying his legs felt rested and enjoyed the trip.     Received this product and initially thought that it wasn't long enough to fit my car (Cadillac Escalade) I returned the item but the seller reached out to me to let me know that there is an additional button at the bottom to extend the leg. I installed it and extended the bottom leg and fit perfectly. My 3-year-old loves her footrest and she has not been kicking or pushing on the back of the seat anymore. Even though he's tall for being 6 we had to bring the foot plate almost all the way to the top but it was perfect fit. His shoes sad perfectly on it. Enough that we didn't even worry about his feet dangling for hours which they didn't because of this.     My daughter has low muscle tone and her legs fall asleep anytime we are in the care for more than 20 minutes. I've been creating ways to prop up her legs for the last 3 years until I stumbled upon this! It is super easy to install and adjust the height of. Slid right in around the carseat and provides the support she needs for her feet. I love that it can be tilted so as to move it out of the way without having to remove it from the car! She cannot get in and out of her seat any more now though as it is not sturdy enough to stand on. I don't know how it could be as easy to adjust and tilt and also be more sturdy. Overall we are very pleased and I am so glad to have this!

    We love this footrest. We have the prior model which has been used by our now 5 year old for the past 2 years and it's holding up well (except the little clips that are used to hold the poles in place). But we like this one even better because it now has a support beam from the footrest to the floor and the clips are no longer needed in the new design.Both of our kids (ages almost 3 and 5) are more comfortable using the footrest and no longer complain of foot pain when riding in the car forward facing. We finally realized the pain our son was complaining of was being caused by poor circulation to his dangling feet. Problem solved with the footrest! It also helps (not solves) keep him from putting his feet on the back our seat. We love that it is fully adjustable and has grown with him over the years. Well worth the cost.
