This product works quite well and is spot on with tuning even picking up the off tunes or the strumming tunes. Very easy to use. I don't recommend trying to twist it to view the reading while it's on the guitar because your putting too much pressure on the ball joint.

works great, chromatic tuner. picks up low string on bass (many cheap tuners can't). new joint design seems much sturdier than previous “pronged” design - i've broken a few of the old ones but not yet any new ones. Digital display is a bit “retro” looking, preferred the sleek look of old design, but this is only aesthetic.

I borrowed one of these from a friend when I couldn't find my old in-line tuner, and was pleasantly surprised at its performance. I was playing electric guitar in the pit band for a musical, and was a bit skeptical that it would work in such a noisy environment, but it was so discrete easy to see and accurate that I had to get one for myself! I'll be upgrading to the rechargeable version for battery-free operation.

I really like the display. It's a good size and very easy to read. It also comes with a mini bag that you can use to store the tuner. It's what I put it in when I'm not using it, that way I know for sure it's not collecting dust. I've been using the tuner on and off for several weeks now and it's still going strong. From what I understand, the batteries are generally good for many months so I don't think I'll have to switch them anytime soon.

This is the one I settled for. The price is decent and it had many good reviews. It doesn't come with any detailed instructions but I thought its pretty straightforward. You just clip it onto your instrument. Turn it on and you can start adjusting the tuner with a string. It's very very simple. I live with a few noisy roommates however so I'll usually do it with my musicians ear plugs in

I played violin as a kid but stopped after high school. Recently I started playing again. I still have my old violin but I have no idea where my tuner went. I was going to stop by my local music store but thought I would check to see what they have first. Well I'm glad I did because they have a lot of them that you can choose from. this product very good

After about 9 months, I got into a habit of applying a little, tiny dab of lubricant on both ends of the middle connector to keep it from getting stiff (I did this every few months when I cleaned my instruments, only a small drop while slowly rolling the connector around in the socket until it feels a little looser - too much and it'll roll around uncontrollably and won't be stagnant when you need it to be). I also avoided taking the pieces apart often because it isn't necessary and would probably break it after a while.

I have a guitar repair business have been using one every single day for the past 7 years without an issue. The only reason I bought another one is for my customers to try out. The neck will only break if you abuse it or leave it on your guitar while it's in its case or bag. I've tried many others similar tuners, including other , and none of them compare. this product helpful

A good thing to note is the clip is very sturdy sitting on the guitar as it has a good amount of pressure. So for softer wood guitars, it could leave an indentation if left on long. I recommend tuning and removing. If you turn pegs when you play and need a tuner to build the muscle memory, be wary. Any cushion put between could very slightly alter the tuning quality. For harder woods, this isn't an issue.

This is probably the best tuner I've had. Super easy to just clip on the head, press the button , and begin tuning. It picks up the vibrations through the instrument for tuning, so it's really accurate, I feel more so than the ones with the mic, makes for really precision tuning. Battery life is great too, I'm still running on the original battery and it's working great. Great investment if you're a regular player!
