It just so happens when these arrived, there was a beetle hanging out against one of the walls down there that was there all day. I plugged it in the socket right above it. I sat, waited, and watched. Within 30 seconds the beetle ran full speed under a door to get away. I didn't hear a thing but he obviously did. No word or a lie, it's been a little over a week and I haven't seen any type of insect in the basement since plugging 2 of these in down there.

I didn't really have a huge internal problem, yet noticed when seasons changed or someone moved out I'd have to fight off "neighbors' guests"....I bought these and within just days I noticed ok seems like it's keeping them out from my occasional pipe climber that would come from sink drains....and within 2-3 weeks I've seen a total of ZERO....So not sure how'd it'll handle a problem that's caused internally but as far as warding off surrounding invaders for if your building in general gas the issue or a neighbor then I'd say these are reliable to help create a barrier.
