LOVE, LOVE , easy to use, sliced beets for pickling, adjusted the slicer setting to widest setting, was the perfect thickness. Slicing onions or any vegetable. I also used it to slice sausage for perfect medalions. Word of caution, you can still get cut when cleaning, my fault, but the blades are very sharp. If you are worried about using a traditional mandolin, get this, you will love it!

This is an ingenious idea! I like anything that slices and dices, and this is an improvement on the traditional model. I'm a massage therapist and I have to take care of my hands. By moving the slicer, not the food, your fingers are protected behind the pusher. I have/use a similar slicer from Pampered Chef and I paid twice the price 🙄. I made this purchase as a gift. It's versatile, easy to use, and there's no risk to fingers. Cleaning is fairly easy with the included tool. I'm a fan!

Better then a knife! I seriously love this thing. I'm starting a food business so I needed something to help me make quicker work of fruits and veggies. I saw this slicer in my research but decided to purchase an electric Salad Shooter instead, thinking it would really minimize my effort. I returned it promptly because it tore up anything soft, like strawberries and citrus fruit. Went ahead and ordered this one and I'm so glad! I've cut strawberries, citrus fruits, pineapple, apples, cucumbers, bananas, nectarines... all with no problem. I love the rotating dial that let's you select the thickness. It makes all my slices uniform and straight cuts. Very much like using a mandolin, only much easier and safer. Very easy to clean. I like that the handle locks down for storage. This was definitely worth the money. The only thing I don't like about it is the shape of the pusher cup. It's slightly annoying sometimes, but I'm still glad I bought it!

This gadget saves my hands from pain when chopping. I have very limited use of my right hand and pain in my left, so I can put a veggie in the chute and press the lever with my left arm if needed. I've had this for over a year and the blade is still sharp. I would recommend this to anyone with hand trouble. It's easiest to clean if you rinse it right away and use a regular scrub brush instead of the tiny one it comes with. It's worth the cleanup hassle if it saves pain or time chopping. It is sturdy enough with the suction cups that it stays on the counter or cutting board without needing to be held down while in use. Another necessary feature for hand-challenged folks. The chopping settings are fine for what I make and even I can turn the dials to set the thickness.

I admire well engineered products and this is a well engineered product. I purchased this mandolin to make baked (purple - Stokes) sweet potato chips; I used to hand slice the potatos. Traditional mandolins don't seem safe to me because your hand is either exposed, or semi-exposed to the blade. Not so, with this device. I felt very safe using it to make thin (controllable thickness) slices, without wasting potato at the end of the job to protect my hands.

I love this little device! It came yesterday and I couldn't wait to try it. It was a little tricky to set it up, but once you learn it it's a piece of cake. So far I have sliced cucumbers, carrots, cubed potatoes in a variety of thicknesses and sizes in only a few minutes! And most importantly, it's really safe because you never have to touch the blades when you clean it and neither when you want to change to a different mode during processing. Maybe it's a little bit tricky to clean, but if you wash it right after use, it's very easy. Just place the pieces in a bowl with soap and water for awhile, then rinse it with hot water. Also, it's very stable on the counter top during use. I can't wait to see an electric model in the future and I wish I had found it long ago!

I've always wanted a mandolin, but was cautious because of the sharp blades in them. This one is ideal! There's no way you can injure yourself! I just used it for the first time to make scalloped potatoes and it was a dream to use. Highly recommend!

I'm obsessed. I love making Tian but the veggies take FOREVER to chop. After buying this, I was done chopping not one but TWO full casserole pans worth of potatoes, zucchini, and squash within 10 minutes. It was fast, easy, and everything was chopped the perfect thickness. I love this product so much. It felt like Christmas. I was literally giddy with excitement because it made meal prep so much easier. I should have bought this years ago.

The slicer is so easy to use my 8-year old granddaughter used it to slice, of all things, grapes. Why? Because they were there. Afterwards I cleaned the entire unit in a few minutes, using the supplied brush on some to the skins. Going on to more suitable endeavors I thin-sliced a potato for home fries in less than 30 seconds. Love this machine! The suction cup feet gripped the counter top well, too.
