Something you didn't know you needed but glad you found. Helps getting through a bunch of shrimp for dinner. Could also use on cooked shrimp but likely better for raw shrimp. Have not tried on fish yet, but if the blade stays sharp it could come in handy as well.

While you can 'mess around' with a paring knife deveining, this tool makes life much easier. The knife has several available blades useful for more than just shrimp, they can be used for dealing with fish too. Just take a few minutes and learn about what it does, and maybe watch a few videos. The time you spend will pay you back in spades.

Works very well. Without any trouble we were able to clean our shrimp first use! Use to remove both the shell and vein in one motion. Not heavy in hand but you can tell they will last. Like that it comes in a two pack.

This tool really saved time while cleaning shrimp. The shells came off easily and the deveining process was substantially quicker. The blade was nice and sharp and sliced right through, allowing me to pluck the vein right out.

This shrimp knife is overall super helpful when cleaning shrimp. My family loves shrimp but I dreaded the cleaning process. I previously used a little sharp knife when cleaning and deveining. But with this tool, it makes it so much easier to remove the shell and devein it. It's very sturdy and worked well on the medium size shrimp I was preparing. I wasn't sure how well this would work for shrimp - my main reason for ordering. We love the fresh Gulf shrimp and this little tool has taken the the pain out of deveining. Haven't used the fish end yet but if it's as effective as the shrimp end - will be great!

I have seen videos with this cleaning the shrimp and this actually works better then using a fork. We like to make ceviche and shrimp scampi in this house so this definitely is a bonus. Makes the cleaning easier. Would definitely recommend if you make quite a bit of seafood

For the longest time, steamed shrimp was the go-to meal when I did not want to cook. I would buy two pounds of raw shrimp and separate them into single meal sizes and freeze them. Rice and steamed shrimp make a quick and uncomplicated meal. The only problem was removing what euphemistically called the vein. It always was a pain to remove it.
