Not only are these great products for repelling mosquitoes and other nasty insects, they also work well at keeping the cat away from the door when I'm about to go out. He is an indoor cat who thinks he should be let out so he tries to sneak out whenever he sees someone leaving. I found out by accident that he hates noises when they are turned on and he will run out of the room. We humans can barely hear the noise but he certainly can. Now I keep one in the kitchen so that if someone comes out and the cat is looking out the door, we just turn it on and poo, he's gone.

I placed it in the center of the apt (the middle bar of the E-shaped layout) and could hear bugs coming from my bedroom. I also use it manually on flies in strange places, I just need to bring it close to the bug and it will be easily knocked down. I use paper towels to remove the residue but usually, they will fall on adults. GREAT product, I wish I had bought one before.
