The Hypnotic Jellyfish Aquarium

I'm in love with this tank, it's so soothing and calming. Definitely helps when I have a stressful week at work to just lay with my music and watch these lifelike jellyfish dance and play with each other. Takes my mind off everything for a minute. Very quiet motor and easy to put together, using a straw to remove the air bubbles from the jellyfish was a very helpful tip included in the instructions, well worth the money!

We absolutely love this!!!! It is so mesmerizing and relaxing watching this. Next best thing to an actual live aquarium which is documented that watching fish is calming. These are like watching live jelly fish swimming. And then the awesome lighting cycle it goes through is just another great addition to this product. There are only 2 jellyfish in the container, but the way it is made when it is on, the reflection makes it look like there are 4. The only con I would say is that, just like lava lamps, the base and top are in that stark black heavy plastic, just like a lot of the lava lamps , which doesn’t always look as maybe as attractive as you’d want depending on what rooms you’d may want to have it in to fit in with the decor. The bottom line is that whoever created this is a genius. Would buy other things from this seller!

My wife showed recent interest in jellyfish and mentioned how soothing they are too watch. So I immediately started checking on real ones. Pricey and difficult to maintain, i stumbled across these on Amazon. I’m a research kind of guy, and research I did and most of these types of tanks got poor reviews except this one for the most part. So I tried it and I’m seriously impressed. Really easy to set up with great instructions, VERY REALISTIC and beautiful. Now I’m no jellyfish expert so when I say realistic, it’s my eyes and my brain making that statement. They are most vibrant and colorful under the blue light setting and the color they emit kind of reminds me of those felt carnival posters that pop neon colors under a black light from the 80’s. In a dark room they are quite soothing. The movements they make and the realism is the home run here. Just incredible!! Bravo and well done. Absolutely nothing bad to report here with them going on every night now for the last 2 weeks.

Love this jellyfish lamp. I have it in my office at work and it creates a very calming effect! I like that the jellyfish aren't real so I don't feel guilty about "caging" them in a container. And, there's no feeding them! You can choose the color you want or let the lamp circulate through multiple colors. I may order one for home!

I just got this today and I can't stop looking at it. These lovely jellyfish float around so serenely and the colors are bright and beautiful. They are surprisingly lifelike. The tank is very quiet and will not disturb you. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

Saw this tank on our last cruise ship vacation and knew I needed to get one for my husband! At first he thought it was another goofy thing I’m always buying but after setting it up he soon changed his mind. We set it up in front of a mirror on hutch so even though only 2 squid in there it appears like more! The colors are so pretty, I love that it makes no noise (like aquarium does) - not to mention there’s no feeding or cleaning to be done! The grandkids absolutely love it and it’s quite mesmerizing and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this. I did purchase extra little swimmers but so far the two are quite sufficient.

Lamp is just what I was expecting. Instructions was quick and easy. Be careful and use distilled water and add just the right amount of liquid dishwasher detergent soap. I accidently added a little too much of soap and in my tank it look like it was cloudy but it was just the soap mixed in with the water, it isn't too distracting but still noticeable when the lamp was on. I was concerned when first putting the jellyfish in the tank that the jellyfish would stay to the top of the tank but after ten minutes the jellyfish were moving everywhere in the tank. I used a chopstick to push the jellyfish down far into the tank so be sure to use something similar instead of using your hand, it's much easier. It's very cool and it looks just like real jellyfish. The only downside to this lamp is that it's a little pricey but still happy with my purchase. Would buy it again.

Worth every penny!!! This thing is awesome! We bought it as a replacement to an old lava lamp and everyone that comes over LOVES it. Easy to set up...I took one reviewers advice and got the jellyfish wet before putting them in the water to avoid bubbles and I got none. It makes no noise at ALL and is amazingly silent. It really adds great ambiance to our family room. My only complaint, and this is on amazon NOT the manufacturer, is that when it was shipped to us they literally slapped a label on the box and sent it. Didn't pack it, didn't even tape it up! Just sent it. Lucky for us it arrived in one piece and with everything still in the box. Come on amazon, this thing wasn't cheap, clean it up!

Absolutely love this light! Way better than an aquarium you need to clean with real fish. Daughter fell in love with the jellyfish at the Monterey aquarium and this light and the floating jellyfish are so realistic and mesmerizing the way they individually bob and float and move around. She loves the blue light setting, but all the different color settings are very neat. Worth the money. Great for a nightlight in a child’s room, turns off automatically after 20 minutes.

I bought this for a friend after I saw one on another friend's desk. Every time I saw it I couldn't take my eyes off it. When I needed a gift for a friend who likes the "unusual" I immediately thought of this. I bought it and my friend absolutely loves it. It isn't cheap looking and is exactly as described. It's one of those things that you have to see to believe. Extremely happy with it. I would recommend very highly.
