About 15 months ago I pulled a muscle in right shoulder and the pain has been constant and severe. Therapy did ease problem temporarily. My sleep habits decreased to two hours at a time...After trying a number of other pillows, I bought your pillow with the hope of getting sleep. I was happily surprised after the first night and since. I am falling asleep quickly and soundly sleeping 6-7 hours each night. Wish I had found this 20 years ago!!!

This is my 2nd purchase. Love it. My needs are for a softer pillow AND I use it backwards, that is I sleep on short end and hug the long end. The fill is a bit like fill I've seen sold to stuff pillows, rather like coarse cotton "balls", but in one piece. It can be pulled apart. Ask my dog. Hence the 2nd purchase. Is NOT foam or memory foam. Zippered cover. Deeply recessed button on one side. I owned the first pillow for 2 years. The cover zipper wore out so I slept on nice cover of pillow itself, feels like a soft bed sheet. And when after a few weeks I knew I had to break down and order a new one (for hygiene) I thought ...try wash it. Automatic on delicate, dryer on perm press. Fluff and sleep. Did beautifully, I was impressed. Then the dog!! Took some photos of nice new one. Note pillow is easy to compress, rather soft. The pix of insides of old one.

I love the shape of this pillow. I did take all the stuffing out and replaced it with shredded memory foam and gel which gave it the fluff, coolness, and substance it needed to be a great pillow. The outside pillowcase, I tie dyed. I could see my makeup stains on the white (for when I slept in makeup), and that wouldn't do. I had to do quite a bit of "doctoring" to make this pillow perfect, but it is now. The loft was crummy, but with a little sewing and stuffing skill, it rocks.

But when she found out it would cost $10 to send back she decided to keep it. I threw it in on the spare bed and after a few days looked at it and it had completely expanded out and was the way it was suppose to be. It is now very comfortable and she loves it! Pillow case is soft, too. She use to have ringing in her ears, but after using these pillows (this is 2nd one), her ears stopped ringing and hurting soon after using her 1st one. Glad we found this pillow for her! If you order one of these and it comes flimsy, etc., set it aside for few days and it will expand out.

Most were too high and my arm would get crushed and I'd also wake up with arm pain. This pillow completely eliminated that. I actually slept through the night without waking up to readjust my head to stop the pain. The hole for the ear is fabulous and I had no additional pressure on my head due to it. I found that this pillow cradles my head very well and keeps me still.

This is the second one of these pillows I have purchased for my husband. He finds them the most helpful and supportive. He is not necessarily a side sleeper, but he uses the pillow on his back to provide the neck support he needs. My only complaint is that the cover on this one is not made of the same soft material as the original. It is harder to take off and put on for washing. It also would be good if covers could be sold separately, or an extra cover included with the pillow.

This pillow was delivered yesterday and I used it last night. The best pillow that I ever purchased. I have bought many therapeutic pillows in the past and didn’t really like them. I have bought at least a dozen neck rolls and I found it necessary to keep adjusting them. The pressure on my ear was uncomfortable. I didn’t have to adjust the pillow during the night except to reverse to sleep on my other side. I love the ear hole!!! No discomfort from pressure. I would definitely give as a gift.

I also wear stud earrings and the backs would always press into my neck while using a regular pillow, which made it hard to get comfortable. I never take my earrings out, so it's been a bit of an issue. That's why I love the ear hole in this! No more stabbed neck! CONS: It requires a custom J-shaped pillow case. It does comes with one, though. NEUTRAL: I haven't used the little depression for your ear. It seems like it would be hard to keep it aligned. It hasn't mattered though, because it has enough "give" that my ear isn't uncomfortably smushed.

He needed a pillow that would support his neck and his shoulder too while he was forced to sleep on his back in the hospital bed. This was perfect! When the head of his bed was elevated it worked great and didn't bend his head forward like the regular pillows were doing causing strain on his neck and shoulder. He is normally a side sleeper and the ear hole is an added benefit to the neck and shoulder support. We are extremely pleased with this purchase!
