Ultimate Remote Control Excavator

Cute excavator, my Grandson enjoys it. Smaller than I expected and all plastic. For it's price point I was expecting it to be bigger and/or made of metal. (I didn't watch the video or look at the specs because my daughter sent me this on a list of items my Grandson would like for his birthday, so I just bought it on the spot).It any case, it worked really well and I liked that it came with an extra battery. The remote has many features to make this little excavator do many things, including working the arm and bucket. I don't think it would pick up anything but very light items, such as pompoms or cotton balls because it is very light itself. It is for sure an inside or patio toy, as it is not at all rugged. I would not use it in dirt and/or water, as it is not built for that.

After a broken out the box shipment and a 2nd disappointing one I decided on this one and WOW what a difference!! Solid metal build, great lifelike sounds and it works great. Controls are a bit confusing but you get used to it. My kid absolutely LOVES IT and we bought a 2nd one so we can play together!!Worth every penny IMO. Battery life is great and you'll find yourself having as much fun as your kid playing with it. Don't waste your time buying others like I did, weeks waiting around for replacement deliveries. You won't be disappointed with this one

Very simple to control. Great for a first time RC user and for the little ones. Our 3 year old grandson absolutely loves it and has no problem using it. The remote is small enough for his little hands to operate and each button only does one function which keeps him from getting confused. The excavator itself is very nice and seems very durable. Moves very smoothly, goes forward & back, side to side, turns, arm extends up & down & will scoop or push dirt. Came with the excavator, remote, rechargeable battery for excavator, USB charging cable and mini screwdriver to remove & replace the excavator battery for charging. Remote control takes double AA batteries. Only thing I don't care for is that you have to remove the battery from the excavator every time you need to charge it. The is no charging port on the unit but it does make sense since you don't want to get sand, dirt or water inside a charging port. Overall this is a great RC toy for the smaller kids, 1st timers and anyone else who loves Rc's. Our grandson has had a blast running over things, digging up dirt and driving around the house chasing the dogs with it.

I got this for my son's 10th birthday. It was perfect, and he loved it. He is autistic, and just couldn't quite grasp the concept of the remote control, and kept trying to manually raise and lower the dirt bucket. So, he broke it after a couple days of manipulating it in ways it was not built to be moved. I would definitely recommend this product, but be smarter than me and make sure the intended recipient understands the concept of "remote-controlled" first. I'll likely buy it again, along with a dump truck or something similar, but here in a couple years when he's a little less the-square-peg-will-fit-into-the-round-hole-if-I-just-use-enough-force minded. Excellent little excavator.

After reading the reviews, decided to purchase this one over the many that are for sale. It's pretty much all that the positive review are saying, for the price, you can't beat it! This little toy has all the movements of a real excavator and my son played with it for over an hour on his first day, it's by far his most favorite toy. The battery life is amazing, didn't even run out of power the first day and have a second one as backup. I'm not sure how long this will last as it doesn't look super durable, but time will tell, and for the price, I'd buy another one and then would have 4 batteries!

We purchased the remote control excavator for our 3 year old grandson for his birthday. He loves it! His parents said they had to move it to their bedroom at night so he would stop getting up in the middle of the night to play with it. First thing every morning he knocks on their door and asks for it back. He has had it for a month now and plays with it nonstop, which says a lot about the durability of the toy. Since it was a hit in his house we have ordered one for his 4 year old cousin for Christmas. That will be a real test of the durability

Works wonderfully and it's easy to use. My 5 year old was able to learn how to operate it in a few minutes without frustration. He LOVES it. It is not the most rugged toy, as it is really aimed at an older age group, so we are trying to have him be a bit careful with it but it has held up very well to frequent play in the month since he received it. He can't wait to get the other construction vehicles in this line. We will certainly purchase another from this set for his birthday since we are so pleased with this one.

My kids favorite toy. This toy has been dropped, banged on and thrown into a larger dump truck. It's still hanging in there...battery life isn't the greatest but the kids would like it.

My son absolutely adores his remote control excavator!! He received it for Christmas and it took a couple weeks for it to not be used on the daily. The battery life is surprisingly fantastic for how beefy the excavator moves around. But the back up battery is a god send. Back to how beefy it is: this thing can climb! Both of my boys loved making obstacles to see what the excavator could climb. One of the down falls though... the boys have yet to find an item that the excavator can actually pick up with the bucket.

Price was good. What I was most impressed about is that the toy came with an EXTRA rechargeable battery! Who does that? And it came with a screwdriver that fits where you have to open it to change battery. I bought it for my grandson and it was his favorite toy Christmas morning. He STILL LOVES it 3 weeks later! Great buy!
